Kingfisher Vehicle Hire Terms and Conditions

• All pricing is per day and subject to availability.
• Minimum rental period is 24 hours (unless stated otherwise)
• All rentals include insurance (subject to a specified excess), breakdown cover, specified mileage allowance and VAT.
• Collision Damage Waiver may be available – please ask for details.
• The Damage and Theft excess may vary by location – please ask for details.
• Van rentals are subject to an overhead roof damage excess.
• Additional drivers are acceptable at an additional cost.
• Drivers must have held their licence for a minimum of 2 years.
• Portable Satellite Navigation units available – please ask for details.
• Deposits are required on all rentals where a debit card is used.
• Collection can be arranged at all major airports

Please note - when you reserve a vehicle with us we will assume the collection time will be the same as the delivery time UNLESS YOU STATE OTHERWISE.

PHOTO LICENCES - any customer who holds a U.K. photo licence must get a Licence Summary from the DVLA website. We cannot rent to any customer without first checking for endorsements.

OLD PAPER LICENCE - any customer who still has an old paper licence must get a Licence Summary from the DVLA website. We cannot rent to any customer without first checking for endorsements.

We must be able to read and understand the licence presented and establish it is valid. We cannot, under any circumstances, accept an International Drivers’ Permit (IDP) without the original licence being present. European licences with the EU symbol are fine without an IDP.

Please note that for cars, drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 75, with a minimum of 2 years driving experience. For vehicles with 6 seats or more, drivers must be between 30 and 75, with 5 years driving experience.
